MTL NOVELS
Chapter - 12
12. Bad boys get their a**es handed to them.
(Not too sure about the title on this one)
From that day on, I began to learn not only swordsmanship, but also the spirit of chivalry.
It's about gentlemanly behavior, a sense of justice, morality, ethics, and so on.
It seems that the sum of all these things is the "chivalric spirit".
I still don't have a clear understanding of the chivalry itself, but if I break it down into smaller parts, I can understand each of the things.
I have a good sense of justice, morality and ethics, so it was nothing new to me, but the gentlemanly behavior was useful.
Simply put, my posture has improved. I pay more attention to my behavior and gestures. Even when drawing a sword, it is more beautiful and easier to do so with proper posture.
There was no doubt that the more beautiful one's behavior was, the more popular it would be with women.
In both etiquette and dance lessons, I was increasingly praised for my beautiful posture and behavior.
Even though I was a rotten duchess, I was actually quite busy. I can't just practice swordsmanship.
The fact that you can make use of it for other practices leads to an overall increase in efficiency, and free time - mainly muscle training time. Recently, I've been doing squats while carrying my brother. It's a nice effect.
As for the swordsmanship itself, maybe it's because I've reduced the waste and gaps in my movements, but if I work at it diligently, I can beat my instructor.
It's wonderful. There are many kinds of knights. If I were to be greedy, I would like to have at least one more skill or attribute.....
"Lizzie!"
I was just starting to think about it when the door opened with a bang.
I'm not sure what to make of it. It was rare that he didn't knock on the door.
I stopped doing push-ups and stood up.
"Brother?"
"Chris, you're not here, are you?"
Hearing those words, I picked up my jacket.
I rolled up the sleeves and pulled them back up. I only had knowledge of the game, but I could imagine what my brother would say later.
I didn't bother to mention it, but I made a dubious face and asked my brother.
"What's wrong with Christopher?"
"I can't see him. It's almost dinner....."
"Isn't he out playing somewhere?"
"But you've noticed it too, haven't you Lizzie? Chris hasn't been well the last few days."
I nodded with a strange look on my face.
Of course, I hadn't noticed. We're always so busy with ourselves that we don't have time to take care of others.
"I don't mind if you're just going out to play. I'm worried. I'm worried that something might happen to Chris."
The older brother turned his head down, looking as if he was about to cry.
The sight of him made me feel like, "Give me a break." I am weak when my brother cries. I don't know what to do.
To you, he really is the same as your own brother, a cute little brother.
Christopher. He's been so kind to me in the first place, and now he can't get used to me?
I was getting angrier and angrier. Of course, it was the Christopher in the game who said that, not the current Christopher.
The bad boy should be taken back and spanked.
"I'm not going to be able to do that today. I'll.... have to protect them."
"I understand, then let's go."
I put on my jacket, walked through the door that my brother had left open, and went out into the hallway.
"Lizzie? Uh, where do we go?"
I smiled proudly to reassure my brother, who was staring at me anxiously.
"I have an idea."
